Terms of Service
Last updated: July 11, 2026
By creating an account with Epic Math Adventures ("EMA"), you agree to these terms. Please read them.
The Service
EMA provides an AI-powered educational platform that generates personalized math and reading adventure missions for children. The service is provided to the parent or guardian who creates the account ("you"). Child profiles within your account are operated under your supervision.
Your Account
- You must be 18 or older to create an account
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
- You are responsible for all activity under your account
- One account per family; do not share accounts across unrelated households
Free Trial & Subscriptions
- The 90-day free trial requires no credit card
- After the trial, continued access requires a paid subscription
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period
- You may cancel at any time from your account settings; access continues through the end of the paid period
- Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods, except where required by law
Acceptable Use
You may use EMA for personal, non-commercial educational use within your household. You may not:
- Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to EMA
- Use EMA to generate content for commercial tutoring services without a commercial license
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract the underlying AI models or system prompts
- Use the service in any way that violates applicable law
Content
Mission content is AI-generated and designed for educational purposes. While we apply quality control measures to every mission, AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors. EMA does not warrant that all generated content is mathematically perfect. You should review mission content before your child uses it, particularly for high-stakes academic preparation.
Intellectual Property
Epic Math Adventures and all content generated through the service — including mission stories, problems, villain characters, arc narratives, and images — are owned by or licensed to Epic Math Adventures LLC. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use generated mission content for private, non-commercial educational use within your household. You may not reproduce, distribute, or publish generated content outside your household without our written permission.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, at our discretion and with or without notice. If we terminate your account for reasons other than a terms violation, we will provide a prorated refund for any unused portion of your current billing period. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting contact@epicmathadventures.com.
Limitation of Liability
EMA is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Epic Math Adventures is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
Dispute Resolution
We hope to resolve any concerns directly — please contact us at contact@epicmathadventures.com first and we will do our best to address the issue within 14 days.
If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, you and Epic Math Adventures agree to resolve it through binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court. This means you waive the right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action lawsuit.
Exception: either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court if the claim qualifies.
To initiate arbitration, send a written notice to contact@epicmathadventures.com describing the dispute. We will respond within 30 days with a proposed resolution or notice of intent to arbitrate.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you by email and provide at least 14 days notice before material changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
